The Life in the Spirit Seminar is designed as an evangelistic tool, a formation experience, and an introduction to a life lived in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. This weekend seminar helps participants realize the fire, the breath, the gifts, fruits, and charisms of the Spirit. Although we receive the life of the Spirit through the Sacraments of Initiation — Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist — many of us need to fan this spark of life into flames.…Find out more »
Tailored for children in grades 4-6, Roots happens on Monday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is a place for pre-teens to grow in the faith while having fun and forming friendships through fellowship. ELL classes are held every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until noon, running from the middle of September until the middle of June. There is no fee and students are welcome to drop in as many Tuesdays as their schedules allow. We accommodate all levels, although some basic English is recommended. The class covers grammar, speaking, and some writing. This is a fun and interactive class where students are encouraged to make friends while working hard to improve their language skills.Find out more »
Following the words of Pope John Paul II who said the rosary has a peaceful effect on those who pray it, praying the rosary leads us to see the face of Christ in others, to recognize one’s grief and suffering and to yearn to make the world more beautiful, more just and more closely conformed to God’s plan. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from Alcoholism. The "Wild Goose" was a term that the ancient Celts had for the Holy Spirit, who is not merely something relegated to Confirmation, but desires a relationship with us. This free study program invites Catholic women into a more profound, life-giving relationship with the Holy Spirit. This will begin on Thursday, April 12, until June 7.
