Sacraments for Teens

Sacraments for Teens is a program at Saint Michael Catholic Community for pre-teens and teenagers wishing to receive their Sacraments, who may have missed them at the regular age.

The program is open to all in grades 6-12 (ages 11-17) who are missing two or more Sacraments (whether that be Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, and/or Confirmation). This program allows them to prepare for some or all of the Sacraments in one program, rather than joining the multiple programs offered for the younger kids.

The schedule for the year will be as follows:
Session 1: Wednesday, November. 18, 2026 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Session 2: Wednesday, December 2, 2026 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Session 3 with First Rites (Welcoming and Acceptance): Wednesday, December 16, 2026 (6:30pm-8:30pm)
Session 4: Wednesday, January 6, 2027 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Session 5: Wednesday, January 20, 2027 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Session 6: Wednesday, February 3, 2027 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Rite of Election: Sunday, February 14, 2027 (2:00pm-4:00pm)
Session 7: Wednesday, February 17, 2027 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Session 8: Wednesday, March 3, 2027 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Retreat: TBD
Ephaphtha Rite and Sacraments of Initiation: Wednesday, April 7, 2027 (6:00pm)
Session 9: Wednesday, April 21, 2027 (6:30pm-8:00pm)
Session 10 with First Reconciliation: Wednesday, May 5, 2027 (6:30pm-8:30pm)

At least one parent/guardian must accompany the child to the lessons. Attendance to all sessions is mandatory for the reception of the Sacraments.
