Children & Youth
Young people are important to our church community as they are our future servant-leaders. Here at St. Michael’s, we devote a significant amount of time and resources ministering to them — giving them guidance to know, love, and serve Jesus, and ultimately becoming the missionary disciples every Christian is called to be.
1. Kids’ Kingdom
Begins Fall 2023 to June 2024
Kids in Grades 1, 2, and 3 are invited to celebrate God’s amazing love for them, and His wonder-filled Word within the Sacred Mass. During our Children’s Liturgy of the Word Program, children are offered time to grow closer to God in a special place, and in a way that is natural for their age and development. We encourage full, conscious, and active participation through the Holy Scriptures, Rituals of the Mass, and Prayer using dialogue, singing, activities and making friends with their fellow little brothers and sisters in Christ. In this way we strengthen and develop in relationship with Jesus who lives in the heart of all God’s children.

2. Roots
All in-person gatherings are cancelled until further notice.
Tailored for children in grades 4-6, Roots meets on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is a place for pre-teens to grow in the faith while having fun and forming friendships through fellowship.
Moms and Tots
Our weekly Moms and Tots group is a ministry for moms with small children. We meet every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m., and we invite all moms with little ones to come and join us for coffee, faith, fellowship, and fun activities for the kids!
Why Join
We believe that faith and fun can, of course, go together. By joining any of our youth ministries, children are able to hear and apply the life-changing message of the Gospel of our Lord in a level that they could understand and relate to. Plus – whether they are in Kids’ Kingdom, Roots, or Calling Youth – they are sure to meet new friends with whom they can grow together in their faith journey.
