Elements of the Catholic Mass

May 18 & 19, 2024 | Before All Masses

The Book of Gospels:  The Book of Gospels, the repository for the Word of Christ, is another symbol of the Lord present to the Church. Since it is His own word, the proclamation of the Gospel is honoured with a kiss and candles and incense as if it were Christ himself. https://watch.formed.org/the-elements-of-the-catholic-mass/season:1/videos/the-book-of-the-gospels
