Giving to Something Greater
Because of your help, we can do so much more! From local charities to an international children’s mission, giving to St. Michael’s makes you a part of building up the Kingdom of God in ways more than you can imagine.
St. Michael’s is a registered charity and donations are tax-receipted.
Ways You Are Invited to Give
1. E-Transfer
You can now donate using e-transfer service. Sign in to your own banking institution and e-transfer the amount to isupport@saintmichael.ca
2. Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD)
This allows us to debit your bank account or charge your credit card on a monthly basis so you’ll never have to worry about bringing envelopes, cash, or cheques. To get started now, fill-out this pre-authorized debit form and drop it off at the Parish Office at your convenience.
3. Text-to-Donate
Text give to 833-768-0514 to get set up for text giving. Follow the instructions and after you’re set up, you can easily text an amount to the same number (i.e. “10” or “20”) to donate.

5. Contribution Envelopes

6. Planned Giving
Did you know that you can also make a planned gift to St. Michael’s? Examples would be: naming St. Michael as a beneficiary in your will, donating a life insurance policy, gifts of registered plans, etc. To learn more, contact Ted Williams.
Tax Receipts
According to CRA guidelines, valid tax receipts should have the full names of the donors and the respective addresses which are usually included in your parish registration. If you are not registered, please provide us with your full and postal address (includes postal code) in order that a valid tax receipt can be issued in your name. For etransfer donations, please include a note about allocation (ie. Mass intention, wedding or funeral, TIA or general donation). For 2024, the parishioners who donate through envelopes will have new envelope numbers due to the reduction of the number of ordered envelopes. Please recycle any unused old envelopes and use only the new ones for 2024.
If you prefer to donate through other methods (e-transfer, preauthorized debit, text to donate, or online donation) and won’t need any more envelopes, please contact the office or email accounting@saintmichael.ca.
If you would still like a box of envelopes, please contact the office or email accounting@saintmichael.ca.
