Homily: The Silence Breakers
In his homily for the Second Sunday of Advent, Deacon Art asks an important question about John the Baptist: how is it that people followed him when what he was offering was difficult and painful?
Last week, Time Magazine named its persons of the year. Not just one, but several. They were The Silence Breakers — the ones who broke the silence on abuse and launched a movement. But as Christians, we are also called to be silence breakers, just like John the Baptist. Watch Deacon Art’s homily:
