Prayer of Renewal

Father in heaven, may the faith You have given us in Your Son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of Your Kingdom. May Your grace transform us, into being more faithful missionary disciples, capable of sowing the seeds of the Gospel in our families and our parishes. May those seeds transform humanity and the whole creation in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when, with the powers of Evil overcome, Your glory will shine eternally. May the grace of the Renewal in our Diocese reawaken in us, the call of our baptism to be Pilgrims of Hope, and in the witness of our faith, to seek always the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To You our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever. Amen.

PARISH RENEWAL TEAM UPDATE, JUNE 2026

The Parish Renewal Team continues to move forward with several important initiatives aimed at forming missionary disciples, strengthening family life, and fostering a vibrant Church of encounter and witness within our parish community. Guided by prayer and discernment, the team meets monthly to prioritize key action items within the Parish Renewal Plan and to develop practical steps for their implementation.

As part of this journey, two consecutive Stewardship Weekends have been scheduled for September 12/13 and 19/20, 2026. These weekends will be a joyful opportunity to share our renewal priorities and invite parishioners to prayerfully consider how they might offer their time and gifts in service. Whether through long-standing ministries or new and emerging ones, each person is encouraged to discover their unique place in the life of the parish. A Volunteer Guidelines booklet—currently being finalized—will support this discernment by highlighting a variety of opportunities, including new ministries such as Evangelization, Outreach, Retreat, Environment, Liturgy, Hospitality Desk, and Social Outreach.

In addition, the second annual Ministry Coordinators’ Mass, followed by a meet-and-greet and workshop on September 26, 2026, will provide a meaningful opportunity for ministry leaders to gather, encourage one another, and grow in unity as we share in Christ’s mission.

As we continue along this path of renewal, we invite you to keep these efforts in your prayers. May each of us remain open to the Lord’s call, ready to share our gifts generously and help build a parish community that reflects His love and presence in the world.
