Volunteering & Ministries
Volunteering at St. Michael’s
At times, determining how we can play a more active role in our parish can be a difficult exercise. We each have gifts that sometimes lay undiscovered. During our time of questioning, we turn to the Holy Spirit to motivate, direct, and inspire us so that we can harmoniously join together to do the Church’s work effectively.
By sharing our gifts in the church’s ministries, we are able to create what Pope Francis has repeatedly called for: a culture of encounter.
Here at St. Michael’s, we have a number of ministries that could be strengthened by your involvement. If you feel that you have a gift to offer, please fill out the form and we’ll reach out to you.
Volunteers needed:
- Alpha: help others know Jesus this January: we need people to serve in meal prep teams, small group leaders, greeters, and more! When: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning January 15. Volunteer using the online form or contact Sandy at sleia@saintmichael.ca.
- Kids’ Kingdom: we are looking for adult volunteer teachers (ages 18+) who can help us run our children’s liturgy ministry during the Saturday and Sunday 5 p.m. Masses. Click here to learn more.
