Volunteering at St. Michael’s
At times, determining how we can play a more active role in our parish can be a difficult exercise. We each have gifts that sometimes lay undiscovered. During our time of discernment, we turn to the Holy Spirit to motivate, direct, and inspire us so that we can harmoniously join together to do the Church’s work effectively.
By sharing our gifts in the church’s ministries, we are able to create what Pope Francis has repeatedly called for: a culture of encounter.
Here at St. Michael’s, we have a number of ministries that could be strengthened by your involvement. If you feel that you have a gift to offer, please fill out the form and we’ll reach out to you.
VOLUNTEER FOR MASS: if you are interested in volunteering as an usher/hospitality minister or point of entry person during our weekend Masses, use this form to contact our Volunteer Coordinators at volunteers@saintmichael.ca.
SACRISTAN: Among other things, a sacristan is responsible for setting the altar and attending to liturgical items before and after Mass. We are looking for 4 sacristans (1 for each weekend Mass), 4 for backup, and a lead sacristan. Click here for full details.
