Oremus – New

Come and join Oremus on Monday, February 11 at 6 p.m. (and every 2nd Monday of the month) to pray the Vespers, the evening prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours. If you want to join but cannot make it to church, email Heather at heathermontschilling@gmail.com.


Praise & Adoration Night – New

All are invited to come and join us at our first Praise & Adoration Night, happening on Friday, February 15 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fr. Pilmaiken will be offering some reflection and our NET missionaries will lead praise & worship. If you have any questions, please contact Sandy at sleia@saintmichael.ca.


Business Manager at St Michael’s

St. Michael’s is looking for a full-time business manager to oversee the efficient management of the business office and operations of St. Michael’s Catholic Community. Having yourself or your family photographed for our new photo directory is free, and families who participate will receive a free copy once it is published. Last dates for photo sittings are as follows: February 21-23, March 13-16, and April 10-13. To book your free photography appointment, register here.


Women’s Ministry Lenten Retreat – New

All women in the parish are invited to a Lenten retreat on Thursday, February 21, to be led by Fr. George. The retreat will be at the Day Chapel, beginning at 7 p.m. If you have any questions, please email womensministry@saintmichael.ca.


Knights of Columbus

Charity Appeal Tickets: the Knights will be selling tickets for their Annual Charities Appeal after the weekend Masses. Buy a ticket for $5 each for a chance to win a Ford F-150 truck.


Expression of Interest (EOI) for New & Current Committees

Did you miss the Open House last month? Stop by the display this weekend and chat with the parish leaders who participated in developing our Mission and Vision. You will learn about our plan which includes a number of goals, including establishing eight new and renewed committees — committees that need your talent, energy, and experience. If you’re interested in shaping the future of St. Michael’s, we are excited to have you: please let us know by completing an Expression of Interest at saintmichael.ca/vision or by completing the attached form in the back of the bulletin. Deadline to submit an EOI is Sunday, February 10.


Catholic Women’s League

  • All CWL members are reminded of the monthly meeting happening this Tuesday, February 12 at 7:30 p.m. All women parishioners of St. Michael’s are also invited.
  • The CWL is raising funds for their annual National Convention hosted this year in Calgary. Parishioners are welcome to purchase fish and meat products after Mass. Deadline to place orders is Tuesday, February 12, with delivery on Tuesday, February 26 — just in time for Lent! Spa packages are also available for that special someone for Mothers’ Day. The Vanier Way

Join filmmaker-producer Kevin Dunn for a screening and Q&A on The Vanier Way: a film on how a visit to a L’Arche community in France transformed the lives of ten high school students from Ontario. When: Friday, February 22 at 7 p.m. All are welcome.

Women’s Ministry: 33 Days to Merciful Love – New

The Women’s Ministry invites you to this study on Fr. Michael Gaitley’s 33 Days to Merciful Love. This study explores new material on the heart of St. Thérèse of Lisieux’s Little Way, uncovering the power of trust in the face of personal darkness, laying the foundation for a personal consecration to Divine Mercy. Spirit of Truth Prayer Group

The Spirit of Truth prayer group provides an intimate way to nurture your relationship with Jesus through praise and worship, Scripture reflection, and faith enrichment contemplation, strengthening you as a disciple and a medic. Experience the fruits of the Holy Spirit by joining us in the Day Chapel on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
