What you need to know from this weekend’s bulletin:
Public Celebration of Mass
Thanks to all parishioners who have resumed attending Mass this past week for observing the registration and check-in processes that are in place. We wish to remind everyone else planning on coming back to Mass to register first by visiting saintmichael.ca/Mass or by calling the parish office at 403-249-0423.. Also, all attendees are asked to bring their own mask.
Need to cancel? If you’ve registered but are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket by clicking the “view and manage your order online” link in your confirmation email, as this will allow others to attend. You can also do so by calling the parish office.
During this time, walk-ins will only be permitted if, prior to Mass, the number of attendees has not reached the maximum limit.
We will continue to live stream Mass on Facebook and at saintmichael.ca/Mass Sunday-Friday at 9 a.m. Lastly, please be reminded that Bishop McGrattan’s decree dispensing Catholics from the Sunday obligation remains. This means that even though public Masses have resumed, Catholics are not obliged to attend Mass and those who attend do so out of their own freedom and prudential judgment.
Rapid Access Counselling – New
From the pandemic to the financial market, and even working from home, many individuals are experiencing immense stress. The Catholic Family Services’ Rapid Access Counselling is available for those interested, with counselling sessions done through online video conferencing. Natural Family Planning: Talk and Q&A
Join us on Thursday nights from June 11 to 25 for an online series on Natural Family Planning (NFP). This free online event via Zoom will feature medical professionals and subject matter experts on infertility, contraception, theology of the body, and more. To get the Zoom meeting link, click here.
