Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibition
This exhibit will be held at St. Michael Catholic Community, on the mezzanine level, from
Friday, May 24, 2024 to Sunday, June 2, 2024 inclusive

Message from Fr. Edmund:
The Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibit is coming to our community! May this exhibit be an opportunity for all of us to re-visit our faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist through the incredible narratives and testaments of so many about how the Eucharist takes on a spectacular display of its spiritual reality in the physical realm. Transubstantiation, the becoming of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ during the Consecration in the Holy Eucharist, is the ongoing miracle that we have to appreciate as God’s most precious gift to us. The Eucharist, as “the source and summit of all Christian life” (The Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1324) should convince us more and more to make the Sunday Mass a priority in our life. May the Eucharist always renew in us in living the Paschal Mystery of Christ’s suffering, death and resurrection. May God’s blessings be with us as we honor His Son’s Real Presence in the Eucharist through this exhibit!

Designer of the Exhibit
May 24, 2024: Pope Francis clears path for canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis – Vatican News
The exhibit was designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis, before his death from Leukemia at the age of 15, with the intention of bringing a greater awareness to the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. He said, ‘“My life plan is to always be connected to Jesus”. With these few words, Carlo Acutis outlined the distinctive feature of his brief existence: living with Jesus, for Jesus and in Jesus.”’
The exhibition is comprised of 169 panels with historical descriptions and an extensive assortment of photographs and artwork of Eucharistic Miracles that took place throughout the ages in various countries of the world and which have been recognized by the Vatican

Volunteers Needed!!
For we as a parish to be able to host this very large and impactful exhibit we need your help.
We are looking for volunteers, who are passionate about the Eucharist, to help us with various tasks in preparing and hosting the exhibit. We will need over 200 volunteers for this event for the following tasks:
Volunteer group “A”:
– ensure visitors are welcomed
– count visitors as they arrive
– answer visitor questions
– oversee the displays making sure they are not touched or damaged
Please note, volunteers for Group A must be at least 12 years of age however, those between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

This magnificent exhibit was brought to St. Michael’s to change hearts and bring truth to the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. However, an exhibit of this size and magnitude brings with it a cost to host. If you feel your heart has been touched please consider making a donation to cover the costs incurred. Any surplus in funds will be distributed to registered Catholic charities. All donations are greatly appreciated!

You can also give a donation at the Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibition by cash/cheque or credit card or put in an envelope (marked with EME and with your name and address on it) and put into the donation boxes/baskets at any weekend Mass. Your donation will be added to your annual donations and a tax receipt sent out in early 2025.
