This Weekend: Habitat for Humanity Presentation – New
Gerrad Oishi, president of Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta, will be speaking briefly after Mass this weekend (March 30-31) to talk about St. Michael’s build days this coming May, and how parishioners can support this project in commemoration of our 60th anniversary. Please stay for the presentation to learn more.
This Weekend: First Annual CWL and Knights Undie Sunday
The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) and Knights of Columbus will be having their first annual Undie Sunday this weekend. Parishioners are encouraged to donate new underwear, socks, nursing bras, baby sleepers, diapers, diaper wipes, and gift cards for the clients of Elizabeth House and the Drop-In Centre. Collection bins will be available at the gathering area. Also, for monetary donations, please make cheques payable to Shaw Classic Charity — these will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation.

Re-enactment of the Passion of our Lord
For those interested in participating in the passion re-enactment on Good Friday, registration forms are now available in the gathering area for you to fill out. We are also in need of volunteers for costume care (sewing, ironing, steaming, etc.), flaggers, church decoration on Holy Saturday, and more. Not a Rally: UNITE Youth
UNITE Youth has collaborated with other youth ministries in the Diocese of Calgary to bring you #NotaRally. Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to come and enjoy the day with youth from other parishes, missionaries, clergy, and young adults. There will be opportunities for breakout sessions, group games, adoration, Mass, prayer, and worship. Cost: FREE. Lenten Penitential Service
Several priests will be available for confessions on Thursday, April 11, beginning at 7 p.m. Come and experience God’s mercy in the sacrament of Reconciliation.
Living Stations of the Cross with ROOTS Youth – New
This year’s living Stations of the Cross, presented by ROOTS Youth, will be on Friday, April 12 at 5:30 p.m. Children are especially invited to come (accompanied by a parent). A simple, soup and bun potluck dinner will follow in the Kids’ Kingdom room. While this is a free event, we ask those who are coming to please RSVP at saintmichael.ca/events so we can anticipate the number of people coming. St. Michael’s Family Easter Eggstravaganza
Save the date! Moms and Tots — with the support of the CWL, Knights of Columbus, UNITE youth, and ROOTS — is inviting you and your family to join us on Easter Sunday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. for our first annual Family Easter Eggstravaganza. There will be a hotdog lunch, an egg hunt for the kids, games, face painting, photo booth, and more fun for the whole family. This is a free event, but please RSVP here.
Divine Mercy Sunday and Holy Hour – New

novena starts on Good Friday, April 19. To pray the novena, pick up a free guide at the gathering area beginning on Palm Sunday, or download a copy here. - Bishop Emeritus Frederick Henry will be celebrating the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 28. All are invited to attend.
- We will have a Holy Hour at 3 p.m., with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, adoration, recitation of the chaplet of Divine Mercy, homily, and benediction. All are invited to attend. To learn more about the devotion to Divine Mercy, visit saintmichael.ca/lent.

Easter Memory Flowers
You are invited to help decorate the sanctuary this Easter by purchasing an Easter flower in memory of a loved one. You can order Lillies for $10, Hydrangeas for $15, or Potted Mums for $10. Pick up a form in the gathering area and drop it off at the parish office along with your payment, or in the collection basket during Mass. Limited flowers are available.
