First Reconciliation & First Communion 2022
We are so excited to welcome you to the 2021/2022 First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion Preparation Program. Preparation for the Sacraments will resume with in-person learning in the Fall, and we are so happy to welcome you back into our Church for the sessions!
Here is the official registration form for the Sacrament preparation program. Please read the questions on this registration form carefully, fill it accurately & completely, so that we can keep a concise and correct Sacrament record for your child(ren).
Children who wish to receive First Holy Communion (also known as the Eucharist) MUST complete First Reconciliation (also known as Confession).
The first half of the school year will be devoted to preparation for First Reconciliation, after which the children will be invited to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession for the first time in early 2022. After this, we will begin our preparation for First Holy Communion, and have our First Holy Communion celebrations in May or June (dates will be announced closer to the day).
For those older students who may have already received First Communion, but not First Reconciliation, or vice versa, you may still sign up, but indicate in the “additional notes” portion of the registration that you will only be attending the classes for the Sacrament they have not yet received.
If you have more than one child that you are registering for the course, please fill out separate registration forms.
