Place your order online at stmichaels244.fundfwdshop.ca or by seeing Theresa at the gathering area after Masses this weekend. Orders will be ready for pickup here at the church on Wednesday, December 5, between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Chalice: Help Children in Developing Countries this Christmas – NEW

Volunteer Callout: Moms & Tots – NEW

The Friday morning Moms & Tots ministry is looking for volunteer babysitters for 3 consecutive Fridays (November 30, December 7 and 14) from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers must have a valid police check. If you’re interested, please email Marvin at mmatthews@saintmichael.ca.

  • We kick off our hamper preparations this weekend with our first Share Sunday and volunteer sign up weekend. Take a bag after Mass and fill it with our most-needed food items. Also, sign up sheets for different positions will be available after Mass in the gathering area.
  • Angel Tree supplies needed: our Angel Tree will be available on the weekends of November 24-25 and December 1-2. Pick an angel from the tree, shop for the gift wished for by that child, and return it by noon on December 9 to ensure it is included with the hamper intended for that child’s family. We also welcome donations of wrapping paper and gift bags (approximately 15″x18″ or larger). If you are able to donate these items, you can drop them off at the Angel Tree box outside the main sanctuary. Thank you!
  • Hamper delivery and police checks: the Diocese requires that anyone delivering hampers to homes must have a valid Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check (VSPIC) and have completed the Diocese’s online learning module. If you’re interested in helping with hamper delivery on December 17 and have not yet initiated the VSPIC process, email christmashampers@saintmichael.ca. We are still in need of an additional 30 delivery teams, and at least one in each team must complete both requirements. Thanks to all who have stepped up to volunteer!

In His Will Ministries: Belize Mission – NEW

As you may be aware, Carmen and Faye McBride have operated a mission in Unitedville, Belize since 2001. St. Michael’s has supported In His Will for 16 years, and we would certainly pray for the work of this mission to continue.
