Join the Knights of Columbus
The Knights will be having a membership drive this Sunday, April 22. Prayer Ministry: How can we pray for you?
Prayer ministry teams will be available at the Day Chapel following each Mass this weekend: after the 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday and after each Mass on Sunday for anyone who wants to receive prayer — whether an individual or family.
A SONG FOR RACHEL CONCERT
Next Friday: A Song for Rachel is a fun-filled family fundraising concert and silent auction to support the post-abortion healing and reconciliation ministry of Project Rachel. Everyone is invited to attend this event. The silent auction opens at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15/person or $35/family and can be purchased at the parish office, at the doors during the evening of the concert, or online at calgarydiocese.ca. You can also contact the Life & Family Resource Centre at 403-218-5505 for tickets or to donate silent auction items.
Welcoming Faces Wanted
The Welcome/Information Desk Committee is looking for a few smiling faces to welcome and help connect new and old parishioners. No prior experience or knowledge is required. Lay Association Spring Seminar
Lay associations in the diocese are invited to join Bishop McGrattan on Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for this Spring seminar with the theme: Vocations & Youth Apostolates. There is a limit of 5 attendees per organization. Cost is $10 which includes a BBQ lunch. Please register online so we can manage our numbers. Blood Donors Needed
150 blood donors are needed for the blood drive on Monday, May 7, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. here at St. Michael’s. To book an appointment, please visit blood.ca.
HIKE FOR LIFE
Join Fr. John and Fr. Pilmaiken next month at Prince’s Island Park for the 38th annual Hike for Life, happening Saturday, May 12. Enjoy 10KM of beautiful scenery and help the Calgary Pro-Life Association bring the Respect for Life program to schools and other organizations. Mothers’ Day Brunch
Join the Knights of Columbus for a Mothers’ Day brunch on Sunday, May 13 after the 11 a.m. Mass. The buffet meal will include our usual pancakes and sausages plus fruit, eggs, juice, cottage cheese, and more. Tickets are $15 for individuals 15 and older, $7 for kids ages 5-14, while kids under 5 are free. Family rate is $45. Only 150 advance tickets will be sold, which can be purchased at the parish office, or after Masses on the weekends of April 28 and May 5. Net proceeds will go to Elizabeth House.
SSVP Clothing Donations
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has identified the need for girls’ spring/summer clothing in sizes 9-10 and 10-12, including spring jackets. Please contact the SSVP at 403-249-0423 ext. 122 if you’re able to help.

SHIPWRECKED: VACATION BIBLE CAMP
