Fr. John’s letter to the parish – New
Please read the letter attached in this bulletin for a message from Fr. John, including information on St. Michael’s financial results for 2019 and Q1 2020.
Victoria Day – New
Please note that the parish office will be closed and there will be no Confessions on Monday, May 18. However, the Blessed Sacrament Chapel will remain open for private prayer from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Catholic Education Week – New
On May 18-22, we will be celebrating Catholic Education in all of Alberta. Join Bishop McGrattan in a province-wide liturgy and blessing on Friday, May 22 at 9 a.m. via live stream at catholicyyc.ca/catholiceducaton. In your charity, this is also an opportune time to remember in your prayers all of our students, parents, and teachers in Guardian Angel, St. Michael, John Costello, and Joan of Arc schools
Novena to the Holy Spirit – New
The novena to the Holy Spirit is the oldest of all novenas — the first one being on the days leading up to Pentecost when the apostles were all gathered in the upper room. This year, the novena will begin on Friday, May 22, culminating during the Pentecost Vigil on Saturday, May 30. Moms and Tots Virtual Meet-Up
Moms and Tots is inviting women to this first virtual meet-up happening on Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. via ZOOM. Kimberly Cichon, parishioner and mother of six, will be sharing about her experiences during quarantine in a talk titled Stripped Away: Falls, Faith, and Family.
