Confirmation Registration – New
Registration for 2021 Confirmation is now open until January 31. Candidates and families will prepare with online materials using the Chosen program, which we’ve used in the parish previously. For more information and to register for the program, please visit saintmichael.ca/confirmation. Currently, Confirmation Masses are scheduled for the weekend of April 22-24. If you have any questions, please email sacramentprep@saintmichael.ca.
A Dram for St. Joseph – New
You are invited to join God Squad’s A Dram for St. Joseph fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021. This event features a virtual whiskey tasting with silent auction and entertainment. A portion of the proceeds will be given to Mission Mexico. To learn more, visit www.godsquad.ca/litany.
Fish for Fridays
Support the CWL’s annual Fish for Fridays fundraiser and stock up on seafood for Lent! From January 6-27, you can purchase restaurant-quality fish and seafood products at wholesale prices. Are you interested in technical, audio-visual work? We’re looking for individuals who can help run the sound mixer, Pro-Presenter slides, and cameras during our weekday and weekend Masses. 1 on 1 training will be provided. If you’re interested, please sign up at saintmichael.ca/volunteer.
Women’s Ministry January faith formation program
The Women’s Ministry is hosting a new, virtual faith formation program in January titled Presence: The Mystery of the Eucharist. This study will be hosted via Zoom every Tuesday at 7 p.m. beginning January 12 to February 2 (four weeks). To watch the trailer and sign up, click here.
A Priest and a Rabbi Read Scripture Together – New
“A Priest and a Rabbi Read Scripture Together” is a series of virtual sessions with Fr. Adrian Martens, EV and Rabbi Mark Glickman (Temple B’nai Tikvah). This event highlights the newly-released resources from the CCCB, The Psalms: A Doorway to Jewish-Catholic Dialogue.
