What you need to know from this weekend’s bulletin:
Town Hall Follow-up – New
Thank you to everyone who came to the Town Hall to meet the new Parish Leadership Council members and hear about Fr. John’s three pastoral priorities: increased parishioner engagement, outreach to the four parish schools, and a focus on the Sunday Eucharistic experience. If you want more information or have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
ME-25 Member Engagement Survey: Now Open
All parishioners ages 18 and older are strongly encouraged to participate in the ME-25 survey. It will give us a collective view of the spiritual health of St. Michael’s and only takes about five minutes to complete. You can complete the survey at saintmichael.ca/survey. Note: paper surveys can be dropped off at the welcome desk this weekend or at the parish office on weekdays. The survey will close next Sunday, June 16.
Share Sunday: Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Keeping our larder well-stocked in the next few months will allow us to continue assisting families in need during the summer break. This weekend, we will be handing out bags for any food items you may want to donate — you can drop off your donations next week at the SSVP donation bin at the gathering area. Thank you for your generosity!
Come and join Oremus on Monday, June 10, at 6 p.m. to pray the Vespers — the evening prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours. If you’d like to join but cannot make it to church, email Heather at email@example.com.
Grafted In: A monthly talk series with Dr. Don Swenson
Join Don Swenson in the monthly talk series Grafted In: Reflections on the Jewish Roots of the Christian-Catholic Tradition and the Relationship Between Gentile and Jewish Believers in Jesus. The sixth and final talk (Discovering the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist and the Return of Jesus) with Angela Swenson will be on Wednesday, June 12 at 7 p.m.
