Bulletin: Summer – August
What you need to know from this weekend’s bulletin:
August Summer Bulletin
August 7, 2022
they are gifts of God.
Take time to have fun;
it’s God’s way of teaching you your strengths.
Take time to grow yourself;
only you can grow you.
God trusts you.
Take time to be self-reliant;
it is better than being dependent.
Take time to share with others;
they will bless you, and you will bless them.
Take time to have hope,
you are a child of God.
Let’s put ourselves into the hands of the Lord,
and pray that God will bless us and our families
during the wonderful months of summer.
May we all help make our home a place of relaxation,
joy, love, peace and safety.
May we be generous and considerate,
not thinking only about ourselves,
but helping others enjoy the blessings of a summertime.
Lord God, Creator of all things,
guide our steps and strengthen our hearts,
during these months of summer and vacation days.
Grant us refreshment of mind and body.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Sponsor Family Assistance
The St. Michael Men’s Ministry has sponsored the Imran family from Pakistan (Max, Somiya, daughters Braikhna 10, and Hannah 4) this past June. Our group is very thankful to the community who have helped find furniture, donated financially and met with the family. This family has been in a refugee situation for approximately 9 years and are so very grateful to be here. They want to be a part of our community and so we are reaching out to SMCC for social and community help. They enjoy attending Mass at SMCC, and need occasional rides from their home in Glamorgan to and from Mass, or meeting other families for fellowship, or social activities like
going to the park, local community pools or rides to go grocery shopping until they can manage the bus system independently etc. If you have the time and are able to drive or if you would like to connect with Max and his family, please let us know. They look forward to getting to know you all. Thank you and God Bless.
