You: Life, Love, and Theology of the Body is a unique, six-week program for teens and their families which reveals to them their value as a person. It addresses many of the issues teens are already exposed to in the media, social pressures, and relationships. This program will be on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning Feb. 12, 2018. ASHES TO GLORY: A LENTEN RETREAT FOR WOMEN
The Women’s Ministry is inviting all women in the parish to a Lenten Retreat with Fr. Pilmaiken on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Day chapel. Enrich your Lenten journey as Fr. Pilmaiken speaks about prayer and fasting in the Christian life. No registration needed, but free will offering will be accepted to cover the cost of materials. Click here for more info.
Sandwich Friday
Please purchase a loaf or two of bread and make sandwiches for the Drop-In Centre on Friday. Fill them with items such as peanut butter, ham, or turkey slices. Bring the prepared loaves to the church by 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16. Last month we donated 633 loaves. Thank you for your generosity!
Footsteps of St. Paul – October 2018 Pilgrimage

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER
This year, St. Michael’s will be hosting Calgary’s World Day of Prayer service on Friday, March 2 at 7 p.m. All are invited to take part and be one in prayer with our Christian sisters and brothers.
55+ St. Patrick’s Day Social
Save the date: on Wednesday, March 14 at noon, the 55+ Circle of Friends invites those ages 55 and over to the St. Patrick’s Day Social. Tickets and more info to be announced in the coming weeks.
PALLIATIVE CARE EDUCATION PROGRAM
St. Michael’s will be hosting the Diocesan Palliative Care Education Program this Spring. Palliative care is the active, compassionate care of a person whose disease is no longer responsive to traditional treatment aimed at a cure. Registration is $50, but the course is offered free of charge for St. Michael’s parishioners and for alumni of past courses. For more information, click here.
ART WALK 2018
Calling St. Michael’s artists and photographers to participate in this year’s Art Walk, happening on April 14-15, 2018. We are seeking to celebrate and honour the God-given talents in our community. Participants will be 18 years and over. Amateurs, emerging artists, and professionals are all welcome. Registration forms are available at the Parish Office or at saintmichael.ca/event/artwalk.
