KIDS’ KINGDOM UPDATE
Please note that there will be no Kids’ Kingdom this Sunday, May 27. Instead, there will be a year-end gathering with food and snacks after the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
105 children will be receiving their First Holy Communion during Mass on Saturday, May 26 (5 p.m. Mass)/Sunday, May 27 (9 a.m. Mass), and 59 children on Saturday, June 2 (5 p.m. Mass)/Sunday, June 3 (9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses). As a faith community, please pray for all these children — that their reception of our Lord in Holy Communion may lead them to a deeper and lifelong love for him.
A big thank you to Maureen and her Sacrament Preparation volunteers for preparing all the children who will be receiving their First Holy Communion during the next two weekends.

SHIPWRECKED: VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
We are in need of adult volunteers to lead stations for the children this Summer. No experience is necessary — everything is planned and laid out in day-by-day lessons. Gadgets, games, Bible adventures — we promise you will have fun! The camp is on July 9-13 and July 16-20, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. If you are available and would like to help, please email Alison at email@example.com.
For children: there are only a handful of spots left in our first week of Bible camp, and the second week is filling up as well. Please register your kids at the parish office as soon as possible.
REQUEST FOR USED EYEGLASSES
Ever wondered what to do with your used eyeglasses? The Canadian Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centre (CLERC) collects used eyeglasses where volunteers clean, sanitize, print prescriptions, package, then ship them to over 80 countries where people can’t afford to purchase eyeglasses. To donate your used eyeglasses or sunglasses, please drop them off (without the case) in the Lions Club box near the bulletin board in the gathering area. Used hearing aids are also collected since they are in huge demand worldwide. For more information, please visit www.clerc.ca.
